Moving Brazil through cabotage

Aliança has been sailing with Brazil since 1950. A benchmark in container cabotage, it carries cargo with a fleet of 8 ships, with weekly calls at 15 ports and reaching more than 660 Brazilian cities, integrating sea transport with a broad onshore logistics structure.

As part of A.P. Moller - Maersk, Aliança combines the strength of a global group with knowledge of the Brazilian market to support companies in transporting their cargo throughout the country.

With more than 850 employees, Aliança serves around 2,000 customers and ships more than 300,000 containers a year, connecting cargo, companies and people all over Brazil.

Services and operations

Aliança offers integrated logistics solutions for cargo transport, using cabotage to connect 15 ports to more than 660 cities.

With 8 ships, 200 trucks, 72,000 m² of our own warehouses and a network of rail, road and river partners, we integrate sea transport with a broad onshore logistics structure.

The three shipping services operated by Aliança run weekly, with calls scheduled on the same days every week. This predictability translates into a regular, scalable and cost-effective solution.

Our History 76 years connecting Brazil

Since 1950, when German immigrant Carl Fischer founded Empresa de Navegação Aliança, the company has been part of the history of Brazilian logistics, from cabotage between Brazilian ports to expansion into Argentina, Europe and the United States, and through the arrival of containers.

In 1999, Aliança led the revival of cabotage in Brazil, renewing its fleet with modern ships and integrating sea and road transport end to end.

Joining A.P. Moller-Maersk in 2017 broadened this calling: today Aliança combines deep knowledge of the Brazilian market with Maersk’s global logistics scale.
